These products are manufactured to meet almost any customer ordered requirement with respect to corrosion resistance of the coating, strength level and/or formability requirements of the steel sheet, thickness, width, surface quality, and surface finish. Our advanced technology products coupled with ultramodern coating facilities, give our customers the widest choice of superior coated steel sheet products.

We offer steel with several types of metallic coatings that provide very substantial improvements in corrosion performance whether the steel is used for cars, trucks, buildings, storage containers, mailboxes, or numerous other applications. In addition to gaining the protection afforded by the metallic coating, coated-steel sheet is readily painted to gain not only better corrosion resistance but also attractive colors. Our family of coated steel sheet products includes both hot-dipped and electrolytically-applied coatings.

ACRYLUME®

ACRYLUME® steel sheet is a coated sheet product that combines the excellent corrosion resistance of GALVALUME® steel sheet with a clear organic resin surface treatment that is applied directly over the GALVALUME® coating. The water-base acrylic surface treatment is essentially invisible but it provides excellent characteristics to enhance the performance and applicability of GALVALUME® steel sheet.

ACRYZINC®

ACRYZINC® is a coated sheet product that combines the corrosion resistance of a galvanized coating with a clear organic resin surface treatment that is applied over the galvanized coating. The surface treatment is essentially invisible but it provides excellent characteristics to enhance the performance and applicability of galvanized sheet.

These enhancements include:

ACRYZINC® sheet is produced directly on the hot-dip galvanizing line. It is applied by roll-coating a uniform, thin film of a water-based acrylic solution onto both surfaces of the sheet. The sheet is then heated to dry the acrylic film. The acrylic film contains corrosion inhibitors and provides lubricity for roll forming.

Typical Applications: virtually all applications of unpainted galvanized sheet / rollformed building panels / stamped appliance parts.

Electrolytic Zinc Coated and Zinc-Iron Alloy Coated

Electrolytic Zinc Coated and Zinc-Iron Alloy Coated Sheet is manufactured by electroplating either pure zinc or a zinc-alloy (typically, 12-15% iron) coating on one or two sides of carbon steel sheet. This continuous electrolytic coating process can be used to apply either type of coating onto the surface of the steel sheet with an exceptionally uniform thickness. The surface quality is exceptionally good for applications that require a high finish after painting, such as automotive exposed panels.

Typical Applications: Automobile body parts / fenders / hoods / deck lids / doors / applications where zinc corrosion resistance is required.

GALVALUME®

GALVALUME® Steel Sheet is a carbon steel sheet coated with aluminum-zinc alloy by a continuous hot-dip process. The nominal coating composition is 55% aluminum and 45% zinc.

GALVALUME® steel sheet combines the excellent barrier corrosion protection of aluminum with the galvanic protection of zinc. The result is a coating that lasts a long time, a coating that provides cut-edge protection along sheared edges, and therefore, a coating that offers excellent protection to steel sheet.

GALVALUME® steel sheet is the preferred product when long-term resistance to atmospheric corrosion is desired. It outlasts a galvanized coating of comparable thickness, and offers cut-edge protection that is not available with aluminum-coated sheet. This cut-edge protection means there is less rust-staining along sheared edges, at scratches, and other imperfections in the coating. The high resistance to corrosion retains a very bright surface appearance therefore making it the preferred material for roofing.

Galvanized Culvert Sheet is a specially manufactured galvanized-steel sheet that has:

Galvannealed

A Galvannealed Sheet is a carbon steel sheet coated with zinc on both sides by a continuous hot-dip process. The Galvannealed surface has a non-spangled matte finish and may appear similar to uncoated cold rolled steel.
One of the primary attributes of the Galvannealed coating is that the surface accepts paint very readily. It can be painted without the application of a pretreatment-

Hot-Dip Galvanized

Hot-Dip Galvanized Sheet is carbon steel sheet coated with zinc on two sides by the continuous hot-dip process. The process results in a layer of zinc on each side of the steel sheet that is tightly adhering to the steel through the formation of an iron-zinc alloy bonding.

It is available in many options including a comprehensive range of sheet widths and thicknesses, metallurgical designations (a range of strengths and formability levels), coating weights (thicknesses), surface finishes, and surface treatments for enhanced performance. Galvanized sheet lends itself to most fabrication processes; it can be roll- and brake-formed, lock-seamed, deep drawn, and stretched. It can be joined by various methods including adhesive bonding, riveting, soldering and welding.

Steel Pre-painted Coated Sheet

Pre-painted Coated Sheet is produced by direct application of a paint (after applying a treatment and, in most instances, a primer) onto steel sheet in a coil-coating line. Pre-painted, coated steel sheet offers users a unique combination of advantages: the strength of steel, the corrosion resistance of a metallic coating and the beauty and additional corrosion protection of paint.

Today's combinations of metallic coatings and paint systems provide corrosion resistance and formability at levels considered impossible only a few years ago. Steel sheet can be readily roll-formed, bent, and stamped without degradation in the quality of the paint.
Pre-painted steel sheet eliminates the user's capital burden of paint facilities as well as painting costs associated with the preparation, handling, spraying and baking or drying operations. Also, the costs of meeting stringent disposal requirements for paint chemicals are eliminated.
